I benefited from the dicipline of the program and support of family, work collegues and the other Kevin. I have to admit though it was not a daily ritual but I did get into a good routine, dropped a bad habit, joined an awesome class (Krav Maga), improved my carreer potential by starting a certification process and made concience decisions about my diet. Overall from the ups and downs I lost five solid pounds and gained twenty pounds on my bench press. My workout routine continues but not at the same pace it was when we first started the program. During that first and second week I dropped ten pounds, gained about seven back in subsequent weeks and eventually and leveled off at five which I'm still holding at.
The most enlightening part for me is seeing how in control you really are of your own health and habits. If you make a sincere decision to change it will happen, if you don't it won't - pretty simple. Like Kevin I agree my effort is not worth a trip down south so I'll have to catch a future challange when more contestents are involved.
I liked being able to stop the daily grind I was in and look at my life from an outside view. Thanks for helping us all hit the reset button.
Kevin M.
